 There's been some questions lately about which training courses expire and which don't.  Here is a list from the national council which details the courses that expire and how often they need to be retaken.

• Youth Protection—every two years
• National Camping School—good for five camping seasons
• Safe Swim Defense—every two years
• Paddle Craft Safety—every three years
• Aquatics Supervision/Swimming and Water Rescue—every three years
• BSA Lifeguard—every three years
• Visitation training—every two years
• Climbing Lead Instructor—every two years
• Climbing Instructor—every two years
• COPE/Climbing Inspector—every two years
• Safety Afloat—every two years
• Chain Saw Safety—every two years
• Trainer’s EDGE—every three years
• Hazardous Weather—every two years
• Physical Wellness—every two years
• Climb On Safely—every two years
• Trek Safely—every two years

 Paul Turgeon was awarded the Silver Beaver at the Council Recognition Dinner on Saturday, March 31!  Congrats Paul on a job well done.

Are you a newly minted or going to be a newly minted Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster or Committee member in your troop?  Do you need to complete a part of your basic leader training?  We have the weekend for you!

Rolling Hills will be putting on a Complete Boy Scout training weekend.  If you come for the entire weekend, you will be COMPLETELY trained for any position in Boy Scouts, even if you move from Scoutmaster to Committee Chair or vise versa.  You can also come for only one day and take the training you are missing.
